NORA is providing $500,000 in Commercial Corridor Gap Financing to go along with several funding sources including Federal and State Historic Tax Credits and Federal New Markets Tax Credits to help rehabilitate the former Bohn Motor Company automobile dealership. Originally built in 1925 and vacant for the last two decades, the rehabilitated Bohn Motor building will contain administrative office space for Odyssey House Louisiana, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) delivering primary care, behavioral health, substance abuse, and in-patient treatment for a low-income and homeless population and a commercial kitchen that will provide meals and workforce training. Approximately 4,000 square feet of ground floor retail space will be available for lease to commercial tenants.
