Anita Briant

Anita is the Director of Human Resources and has been a member of NORA's team since 2008. Anita has over 20 years of human resources experience including training and development, employee relations, benefits and payroll, safety and compliance related matters.

She began her career in the banking industry where she assisted with the development of training materials and policies and procedures with a concentrated focus on monitoring and providing training to management trainees.

Anita's career path also included a stint in the healthcare industry; she supported 300+ employees by creating job-specific training materials, software training, compliance with federal regulations and the Medicare and Medicaid conversion processes.

She has successfully worked as a software instructor providing classroom instruction to large and small companies in a variety of industries including nonprofit organizations and technology companies.

Anita is passionate about encouraging people to make the most of their skills, resources and talents. She attended the University of New Orleans and is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM); has earned certification from the Institute of Legal Studies and is a Certified Ethics Trainer as well as a published author.
