Market Value Analysis

The Market Value Analysis (MVA) is a tool developed by Reinvestment Fund to assist the private market and government officials in the identification and comprehension of various components of residential real estate market strength. The multivariable analysis builds upon a variety of datasets, including median home sale price, variance of home sale price, vacant land sales, foreclosures, structure and lot vacancy, code violations, subsidized rentals, and housing tenure, among others, to determine residential market strength. This analysis is conducted every two to three years and is used by NORA, as well as other local government agencies, as we design programs to provide affordable housing and bring vacant properties back into commerce.
