The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) desires to obtain an Insurance Producer of Record to represent and service NORA’s Property and Casualty Insurance Program, including Flood, Wind, Fire, Automobile Program, Workers’ Compensation, Officers and Directors Liability, Public Officials, Crime and other risk management needs. NORA requests proposals from experienced firms to provide the needed services. Proposals should also address the Property and Casualty Insurance Program, including Flood, Wind, Fire, Automobile Program, Workers’ Compensation, Officers and Directors Liability, Public Officials, Crime and other risk management needs for NORA’s non-profit corporate affiliate, New Orleans Redevelopment Unlimited, Inc. (NORU).

During the period between issuance of this RFP and the proposal due date, no oral interpretation of the RFP’s requirements will be given to any prospective offeror. All questions and requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing to Dianne Wiltz-Hunley, by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The deadline for receipt of questions is Friday, October 25, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. (CDT).
NORA will reasonably attempt to answer questions submitted in advance. All questions and answers will be posted on NORA’s website at noraworks.org in the form of an addendum.
All proposals must be uploaded to the assigned shared folder no later than FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2024, AT 4:00 P.M. (CDT).
SUBMISSION METHOD: Respondents must submit their entire proposal electronically via a shared folder in Microsoft OneDrive, a cloud-based program. NORA will not accept hard copy submissions at this time.
To gain access to a shared folder, applicants must first email Dianne Wiltz-Hunley directly at This email address is being protected from spambots. Your request must be sent via email at the address indicated and submitted at least 24 hours prior to the submission deadline. In the body of the e-mail, include the name of the respondent (Organization and Primary Contact) and the corresponding email address to share the link. The electronic folder will be shared between only the email provided and NORA; no other respondents will be allowed to see other proposals or related materials.
In response to your request, you will receive a link to the shared folder where you will upload your proposal. NORA will not accept responses submitted by fax. All responses must be received by NORA on or before the Submission Deadline. NORA will not consider responses delivered after the deadline.
